Job Summary:
Bud Technology is a licensed cannabis distribution company serving retail dispensaries across California. We prioritize compliance, reliability, and exceptional service in every aspect of our operations. As a Delivery Driver at Bud Technology, you'll play a crucial role in safely and efficiently delivering cannabis products to retail dispensaries across Northern California, including Sacramento, Modesto, and surrounding regions. You will use the Elite Extra app to manage routes and order accuracy, maintain company vehicles, and support warehouse operations as needed. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service skills to every delivery. This is a full‑time position, Monday-Friday position with occasional overtime based on business needs.Key Responsibilities:
Safely deliver time-sensitive cannabis products to retail customers and facilities across Southern California. Load and unload products at the beginning and end of each shift. Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safe operation of company vehicles. Handle packages with care during transport, ensuring they are secure and compliant with all regulations. Ensure customers sign off on required paperwork upon delivery. Resolve any delivery-related issues or discrepancies with problem-solving skills. Maintain communication with order support teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Keep detailed and accurate delivery logs, reporting any discrepancies or issues to management. Represent Bud Technology professionally and provide outstanding customer service. Maintain cleanliness and ensure the mechanical condition of company vehicles. Assist with warehouse duties, including inventory management and lifting up to 40 lbs as needed. Follow all company security protocols, and compliance with California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations.Required Skills:
Professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Safe driving practices and ability to navigate using GPS and route‑management apps. Basic comfort using communication and delivery tools such as Slack, Elite Extra, and smartphone apps.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to load and unload products in various weather conditions, both with and without a dolly. Ability to sit for prolonged periods while operating a vehicle for deliveries.Qualifications:
Eligibility to work in Cannabis (21+, no disqualifying offenses) Valid California driver's license (must be carried during all shifts). Clean driving record. 1+ years of experience in the cannabis industry (preferred but not required). 1+ years of customer service, sales, or account management experience (strongly preferred). Ability to pass a background check in accordance with California cannabis regulationsBenefits:
