Overview:

Local beverage company based in Oceanside, California is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an opening as a Route Delivery Driver supporting deliveries to military bases and local retail accounts across Southern California. Delivery driver work includes operating a 26' straight body box truck , delivering and stocking product at customer locations — including military installations — and maintaining accurate delivery records. Warehouse work includes loading and unloading trucks, staging materials, reading product codes, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

Safely drive and operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver goods to customers, including military base locations Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery schedules and special delivery instructions Load and unload goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, or by hand as required Reconcile daily truck inventory and ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time Stock and merchandise products in coolers and on shelves within military exchange retail stores Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs, invoices, and delivery receipts Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, base access procedures, and company safety policies

Qualifications:

Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse/distribution role Experience operating a 26' box truck or similar commercial vehicle Excellent communication and time management skills Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures Ability to pass background checks and maintain good standing for base access

DBIDS Requirement:

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) credential for access to U.S. military installations Prior DBIDS access or previous experience delivering to military bases is preferred Applicants must have no felony convictions or disqualifying offenses that would prevent access to federal installations
