Delivery Truck Driver (Part-Time) KNS Industrial Supply Santa Fe Springs, CA Job Details Part-time $19 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Company truck 401(k) Paid time off Paid sick time Qualifications CDL B Route planning High school diploma or GED DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Materials handling Full Job Description KNS is looking for a part-time Delivery Truck Driver to transport pipe, valves, fittings, structural steel, and related materials from our Santa Fe Springs facility to customer job sites, contractor yards, and municipal facilities. This role is a great fit for a safety-conscious, reliable driver looking for flexible, part-time hours. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport pipe, valves, fittings, structural steel, and related materials to customer locations Load and secure materials properly, including heavier items like steel pipe and structural steel, using appropriate rigging/tie-down methods Plan and follow efficient delivery routes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, or paperwork as required Communicate with dispatch/warehouse staff regarding delivery status, delays, or issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards for commercial driving and material handling Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Clean driving record (MVR) Prior experience delivering industrial materials (pipe, steel, construction materials) a plus Ability to safely lift and help load/unload heavy materials Strong time-management and route-planning skills Comfortable with physical work, including loading/securing steel and pipe products High school diploma or equivalent Schedule Part-time — Monday through Thursday, morning shifts.
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per weekBenefits:
