Delivery Driver

Growing Distribution Company, located in North County San Diego, seeks a professional, energetic, motivated and hard working individual interested in becoming part of our team. We are currently accepting applications for a Delivery Driver/ Merchandising position.

NEED SOMEONE TO START IMMEDIATELY. MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

If you are selected to come in for an interview you must bring your driving record from the DMV. Basic Job Function - Early Morning Start 5 am or earlier every day

• Deliver refrigerated food products to stores on an established route
• Loading, unloading of delivery vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service, accurate and on time delivery to stores
• Work without supervision and communicate effectively with field and office team members
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage before and after route
• Safely operate assigned delivery vehicle
• Merchandise select stops when dropping the product. Qualifications
• Knowledge of the Southern California area
• Clean DMV record
• A valid Driver's License, Class C
• Team player, self motivated and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Must provide a DMV print out of your driving record.
• Have experience operating small box trucks up to 26ft
• Basic foodservice experience preferred Physical Requirements
• Frequent moving of product up to 50 lbs during the shift: infrequent moving up to 70lbs
• Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
