Day Time Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:30PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Monitor and control access to designated entrances, restricted areas, and employee-only locations in accordance with established procedures. Verify visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, and surrounding areas to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:
At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
