Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Parts Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting parts, equipment, and materials between our service centers, other dealerships and customer locations. Your energetic approach and excellent driving skills will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics operations, supporting efficient warehouse functions and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicle, including vans, and personal vehicles for parts transportation. Load and unload parts and materials using manual handling techniques. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and route logs using mobile devices or other digital tools. Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts promptly, answering questions professionally, and addressing customer needs courteously. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safety, proper functioning, and compliance with all safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle to promote safe driving practices and efficient operations. Follow specific instructions given and keep communications open to your manager or other individual as instructed while on the road. Experience Prior driving experience or experience working in logistics or material handling environments. Driving experience with a valid driver's license; experience operating vans, or similar vehicles preferred. Knowledge of safe lifting practices for heavy loads and manual handling techniques. Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adherence to traffic laws including DOT regulations. Experience in delivery driver roles involving moving goods between locations with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to operate material handling equipment safely in warehouse settings.
