Job Description
Delivery and Installation Driver Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the safe transportation, delivery, and assembly of high-quality furniture and home goods for premium retail partners. The ideal candidate has experience operating commercial trucks with lift gates, possesses excellent customer service skills, works well in a team environment, and is comfortable handling furniture deliveries that may include in-home placement and basic assembly. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Company provided 26-foot box truck with lift gate, conducting pre-trip and post trip vehicle inspections and documentation. Utilize company provided dollies, hand trucks, straps, tie-downs, and other delivery equipment to secure merchandise transport and delivery. Complete full service residential furniture deliveries and assembly while maintaining exceptional customer service. Will use company provided hand and power tools to assemble furniture as needed. Load, unload, secure, and protect merchandise for transport. Monitor fuel and DEF levels, promptly report maintenance issues. Safely operate lift gates and maintain vehicle functionality. Train and mentor Driver Helpers. Comply with company safety standards and defensive driving practices.
