In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in driving commercial vehicles. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving, as well as the ability to navigate routes efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled timelines. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, enhancing efficiency in loading and unloading tasks. Experience in commercial driving. Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and timely deliveries. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely. Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous. Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles when required.
