Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products efficiently and safely to our customers, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. The ideal candidate will have a good sense of direction, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic to keep deliveries on schedule and maintain high standards. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including automobiles and commercial trucks, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and optimize fuel usage. Handle heavy lifting and merchandise loading/unloading with proper techniques to prevent injury. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and build positive relationships. Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, invoices, and route documentation. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales. Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained for safety and efficiency. Work in the warehouse when not doing deliveries. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus. Strong knowledge of route driving, automobile transportation, and traffic laws. Basic math skills for handling pricing calculations and inventory checks. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Previous retail store experience or customer service background preferred but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper procedures. Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day.
