The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and secure placement within the vehicle. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs. Assist in moving items within the warehouse as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus. Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory. Valid commercial driving experience preferred; must be comfortable driving various delivery vehicles. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
