Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial drivers' vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, unload, and secure packages using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while maintaining punctuality. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with customers during delivery to confirm receipt and address any questions or concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with load & unload procedures and equipment like pallet jacks. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of route driving best practices to ensure timely deliveries. Prior experience operating commercial vehicles such as drivers or courier vans is advantageous.
