Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups at multiple locations. Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury. Build strong customer relationships through professional communication, friendly service, and prompt problem resolution. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records with organizational precision. Follow all safety protocols during vehicle operation, loading/unloading processes, and while merchandising products at retail stores or client sites. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or heavy vehicle operation with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for handling transactions or measurements. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising enhances your ability to manage product displays effectively. Knowledge of DOT regulations ensures compliance during all driving activities.
