Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time CDL Driver and become a vital part of our transportation network! In this energetic role, you'll operate commercial vehicles to safely transport golf carts across city streets, ensuring timely and reliable service. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional customer experiences while adhering to strict safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial vehicle. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain communication with dispatch using two-way radios, providing updates on traffic conditions or delays. Follow traffic laws, traffic safety regulations, and state transportation rules diligently to promote passenger safety and prevent accidents. Navigate efficiently through city streets using GPS and local knowledge to meet schedules while avoiding congestion. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements such as air brake certification. Proven experience. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle systems and identify basic maintenance needs. Knowledge of transportation safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and state laws. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members. Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions safely and responsibly. Familiarity with city street navigation, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques. Experience operating two-way radios for driver communication is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and adherence to all transportation regulations. $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
