Overview We are seeking a motivated Residential Trash Cart Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering trash carts to residential properties, ensuring timely and safe distribution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate various trucks, and make a positive impact in your community. Duties Safely operate different types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to deliver trash carts. Load and unload carts efficiently using mechanical knowledge of truck mechanisms. Drive through designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting when handling large or bulky trash carts. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery status or issues. Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete shift reports promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in commercial or waste management settings. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Mechanical knowledge of trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump truck, tractor-trailer, or flatbed is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong driving skills with experience operating heavy-duty vehicles like dump trucks or tractor-trailers. Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various truck types.
