Job Overview This position is for a local driver operating a day cab in intrastate Georgia, on a Part Time basis. Home daily, no weekend work, weekly payroll. Responsibilities Execute route driving plans efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to meet delivery deadlines. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of freight movement for compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record, must provide 3 year MVR. Experience in truck driving (Minimum of 3 years). Hazmat certification required OR be willing to get certification within the first 90 days of employment. Strong knowledge of route planning, traffic laws, and safety regulations related to commercial driving. We are a Certified Drug-Free Workplace, must be willing to submit to a drug test.

Pay:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
