Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and dependable Construction Materials Runner / Delivery Driver to help support our and property maintenance team. This person will be responsible for purchasing and picking up materials from local stores such as Lowe's, Triple H, Home Depot, and other suppliers, then delivering those materials to our various job sites. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, has a valid driver's license, and can work independently while communicating with the team to make sure the correct materials are picked up and delivered on time. Duties Pick up construction and repair materials from local stores and suppliers. Shop for materials based on lists provided by supervisors or construction crews. Make sure the correct materials, quantities, and sizes are purchased. Load and safely transport materials to the appropriate houses or job sites. Deliver materials to construction and maintenance crews as needed. Communicate with supervisors and workers regarding material needs and deliveries. Keep receipts and purchase information organized and turned in appropriately. Help load and unload materials when necessary. Inspect materials before leaving the store to help prevent incorrect or damaged items from being delivered. Keep the company vehicle clean and report any vehicle or equipment issues. Maintain a reliable schedule and complete assigned runs in a timely manner. Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws. Perform other general duties related to supporting construction and property maintenance operations as needed. Skills Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload construction materials. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle. Good organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail when purchasing and delivering materials. Ability to read and follow material lists and instructions. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision. Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, store employees, and vendors. Basic knowledge of construction or home repair materials is a plus but not required. Must be dependable, responsible, and willing to learn. Ability to work in various weather condition.
