Job Description
Company Overview DeConna Ice Cream is a leading distributor of ice cream products, proudly serving customers throughout Florida, and surrounding states. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives us to deliver the finest ice cream selections to our customers. Summary DeConna Ice Cream is seeking a motivated and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team for our Valdosta, GA route and surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be organized, have experience in route delivery driving, be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, putting out signage and have the ability to be cross trained as needed. Excellent customer interaction with safe and courteous driving skills is a must. A solid background with 1 year of Route Delivery is preferred. A clean motor vehicle record is required for this position. This is a preset Route to c-stores, schools, and other area business. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. DeConna is a drug free work environment, a drug test will be required, as well as a background and MVR check.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods along assigned routes
- Load and unload products from the vehicle
- Follow the planned routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by the recipient
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Ability to pass a DOT Medical Certification to cross state lines
Skills:
- Experience with refrigerated and perishable goods preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse operations to facilitate loading procedures
- Prior experience in route driving and delivery services preferred
- Experience in driving a 26ft truck preferred

Pay:
$48,000.00- $55,000.
