Responsibilities Load, transport, and deliver building materials to customers in a safe and timely manner. Review orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness. Interact professionally with customers, providing outstanding service and assistance as needed. Assist in unloading materials at job sites while maintaining efficient delivery schedules. Maintain delivery vehicle in a clean and organized condition, reporting any vehicle issues promptly. Follow all company policies and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to coordinate delivery logistics. Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery slips, vehicle inspections, and mileage logs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and refueling. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in delivery driving or a related field is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy building materials and use equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
