Overview:

Pleasant Meadow Creamery is a family-run local dairy bottling milk products in glass bottles and delivering to local grocery stores between Bonners Ferry and Lewiston, Idaho. All deliveries originate in Sagle, Idaho. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This is a vital role in our organization as you will be the face of our company to our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods and products to designated locations
• Load and unload items from the vehicle in a careful and organized manner
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Report any maintenance or repair needs for the vehicle promptly

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with refrigerated vans and handling temperature-sensitive products is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items if necessary You will be delivering product to grocery stores and stocking shelves on the sales floors at these stores.

You will be the face of our dairy to the store staff and managers. You will be collecting empty glass bottles to return to the farm and will be adjusting invoices as necessary to account for the returns. Delivery vehicle is a Ford E350 Econoliner refrigerated van and commercial drivers license is not required. A clean driver record is a must. The delivery routes generally take 3 to 5 hours to complete from start to finish depending on the route. We do delivery on the local routes 3 days per week, including Saturday, and the longer route is a 9 hour route to Moscow and Lewiston. This route is on Thursday.
