Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating projects, providing hands-on support to skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. Your energy, attention to safety, and willingness to learn will contribute directly to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials safely around the site Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks like framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as concrete cutting, formwork construction, and rebar installation Aid in concrete pouring, finishing, and stucco application to ensure quality finishes according to project specifications Follow all safety protocols and construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment Interpret basic blueprints and schematics to assist in understanding project plans and specifications Skills Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Construction estimating experience is a plus for understanding project scope and material needs Proficiency in working on various construction projects including renovation, restoration, or new builds Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately Experience with concrete forming, concrete pumping, concrete mixing, and finishing techniques Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and masonry techniques Familiarity with framing carpentry, drywall installation, tile laying, flooring installation, caulking, plastering, and stucco work Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout shifts Understanding of construction plans for interpreting specifications related to rebar installation or concrete work Join our team if you're eager to grow your construction skills in a vibrant environment that values safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship.
