Responsibilities Safely operate a personal vehicle or company vehicle, such as a box truck or van, to deliver orders across designated routes. Load and unload delivery items with proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety and product integrity. Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe driving practices during all deliveries. Use mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes efficiently, track deliveries, and communicate with the team. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their orders are delivered accurately and on time. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Follow all warehouse operations procedures when handling materials or inventory related to delivery logistics. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route planning and navigation tools. Experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or trucks with manual transmission. Ability to lift heavy items safely using proper manual handling practices; experience with heavy lifting is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment like pallet jacks, and moving heavy loads efficiently. Strong adherence to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and workplace safety standards related to weight handling and manual lifting practices. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
