FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

Local delivery company affiliated with FedEx Ground has openings for full-time delivery drivers. These positions are based in Champaign/Urbana. The routes primarily service areas within 30 miles of the terminal. Any previous experience working/delivering in this area is helpful. Applicants are preferred to have at least 1 year of professional and/or delivery driving experience within the past 3 years. This schedule is Monday-Friday, and occasional opportunity to work extra shift on Saturdays if desired. Job starts at $850 per week. A monthly bonus program also offered after 3 months. This position does offer paid vacation and holidays. Supplemental Health insurance available after 3 months.

Responsibilities include:

• delivery/pick up of parcels
• professional and safe driving
• strong customer service skills
• self motivated and solid communication skills Qualifications include:
• Prefer at least 1 year of professional driving experience in last 3 years (preferably commercial.)
• Must be able to work Monday-Friday weekly schedule
• Must have a Class C driver's license, or have ability to obtain
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs and all physical requirements of job
• Must be able to work under pressure and have strong customer service skills
