Local full line routes serving Champaign-Urbana area accounts Full job description Pepsi-Cola Champaign-Urbana Bottling Company is hiring a Route Driver for local full line routes. This position is a hands-on delivery role that combines safe vehicle operation, customer service, product delivery, merchandising, inventory rotation, equipment care, and daily route responsibility. Drivers service vending machines, coolers, open-air markets, schools, restaurants, home delivery customers, and retail accounts throughout the local market. What you will do

• Safely operate a company vehicle and complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Sell, deliver, stock, and rotate Pepsi-Cola and allied brand beverage and snack products
• Service vending machines, coolers, open-air markets, schools, restaurants, home delivery stops, and retail locations
• Fill equipment efficiently while keeping vending machines, coolers, and account areas clean and organized
• Greet key account contacts on each visit and provide professional customer service
• Maintain product freshness by checking dates, rotating inventory, and removing or reporting out-of-code product
• Manage route inventory, follow route summaries, and complete assigned stops efficiently
• Keep the truck cab, shells, cardboard, and route equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next day
• Communicate with supervisors, service team members, and customers to resolve route or account issues What we are looking for
• Valid Class C non-CDL driver license with required DMV, medical, and legal clearances for assigned company vehicle operation
• Previous route sales, delivery, vending, merchandising, customer service, warehouse, or physically active work experience preferred
• Safe driving habits and ability to follow company and equipment safety procedures
• Strong attendance, punctuality, dependability, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to represent Pepsi-Cola professionally in customer accounts
• Ability to manage multiple stops, route priorities, inventory, customer needs throughout the day
• Comfortable using handheld devices and learning route technology
• Basic knowledge of vending equipment operation preferred; willingness to learn required Physical requirements
• Repeated lifting, moving, stocking, and handling of beverage and snack products throughout the day
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds as part of normal route work
• Ability to pull loaded carts weighing up to approximately 220 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and trips between vehicle and customer locations
• Repetitive motion of arms, hands, and wrists while stocking, loading, and servicing accounts Driving eligibility Applicants must possess and maintain an insurable driving record.
