Responsiblities:

Dixon Drivers will meet at our shuttle drop location in Collinsville, IL at 4:30AM. Drivers will then help each other exachange loads on to the respective trucks. The job is completed once all customers have been delivered to, any and all returns are secured and locked in an air controlled environment, and the trucks are properly returned and locked. The Saint Louis Delivery team operates on a 3 week rotation. This requires each person to drive for two weeks (Mon-Fri), then that 3rd week you will be on-call with full pay. ( approx. total 17 weeks off paid.) The rotation continues that way for each driver.

IMPORTANT

The weeks that you are scheduled to be off due too the driving rotation; it is warranted that you will be on call in case problems arise with the rest of the team these can consist of : (sick days, family emergency, vacations, other related work problems.) Other responsiblities include the cleaning and up keeping of the trucks and taking trucks in for maintenance or repairs.

Requirement:

This job will require an individual to have a Class E license. ( We will pay for license if one does not meet the requirement. ) Prior delivery experience ( Not required but helpful. )

Skills:

Drivers will be expected to deliver product to our customers with respect, care and accuracy. Delivery drivers for Dixon Fisheries are expected to preform a level of customer service of our desire. Must be able communicate clearly and effectively between customers, sales rep., and your supervisors. Having the ability to problem solve and pay attention to detail. Must be able to accurately record and issue credits, along with handling transactions of payment between customers. Being able to work as a team.

Education:

Must have Minimum of a GED.
