Delivery Driver

Reinke Supply Company is searching for a reliable Delivery Driver to move construction supplies between company locations and contractor job sites throughout northern Illinois. This position is for our Elgin location. Candidate must possess the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the following tasks: Checks with Dispatcher for daily delivery schedule and routing instructions. Load, strap, deliver, and unload materials every day in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains accurate log of all stops, with proper documentation and signatures. Inspects and maintains vehicle, including washing, fueling, fluids, tire pressure, etc. Delivers materials to customers in a friendly, efficient and safe manner. Represents the company with a customer-focus and professional appearance. Cooperates with fellow employees to accomplish business goals. Follows direct instructions, company policies and safety procedures. Other duties as assigned, including stocking, packaging, expediting, etc. Candidate must meet the following minimum driving requirements: Possess CDL Class A (preferred) or B with airbrake endorsement license. Possess DOT medical card. Possess clean driving record. Submit to and pass random drug screening. Practice courteous and safe driving habits at all times. Read vehicle operating, maintenance and safety manuals. Sit, drive and remain alert for extended periods. Climb, bend and crouch to load/unload truck. Lift and carry 75 pounds. Candidate must meet the following minimum education requirement: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
