Driver Part-Time The Salvation Army USA Central Territory United States, Illinois, Granite City 3007 East 23rd Street (Show on map) Sep 02, 2026 The Salvation Army Granite City 360 Life Center is looking for a Driver. The Driver is responsible for the general donation pick-ups throughout the service area. This is a part-time, 27 hours per week, $15.00 per hour. 3007 E23rd St., Granite City, IL Essential Functions Assist in transporting participants to and from activities
Assist with delivering and picking up kettles and counter kettles
Make pickups and deliveries as needed.
Setup donation giveaways.
Participate in team training and development when necessary.
Maintain confidentiality, proper boundaries with clients and comply with Salvation Army Safe From Harm guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications A High School Diploma or GED with one year related work experience. Combination of training and experience will be considered.

Basic communication skills to facilitate good communications between visitors and other employees.
Requires appropriate valid driver's license (MO "E" or IL "D") and must pass The Salvation Army MVR check. Physical and Working Conditions Capable of frequently lifting 30 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds. Occasionally moves 100 pounds or more using dolly/cart/truck. Majority of lifting is from floor to waist height. Some lifting required above waist and shoulder high but it will be at a reduced weight. Position will have to bend, stoop, crouch, stand, walk, carry and push/pull items to accomplish this job. Ability to bend, stoop, and climb in and out of vehicles. Capable of prolonged periods of sitting and driving. Must have adequate vision and hearing to safely operate a vehicle. Work primarily outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions. Regularly operate a vehicle and handle deliveries, pickups, and transportation of participants. Occasional need to work evenings and weekends based on organizational needs.
