Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Deliver products efficiently along designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery logs and route documentation. Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Assist with merchandising, product placement, and upselling opportunities to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods using proper techniques to prevent injury and ensure safety. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure optimal operation. Build strong customer relationships through friendly interactions, reliable service, and clear communication skills. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or retail store delivery preferred. Basic math skills for pricing calculations, inventory checks, and route planning. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices consistently. Strong communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration. Knowledge of DOT regulations, route driving techniques, and automobile transportation standards. Prior experience in retail store environments or merchandising is a plus. Excellent organizational skills to manage delivery schedules efficiently and accurately document deliveries.
