Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to read and understand delivery instructions, route information, and shipment documentation Local Delivery Driver Skills + Experience Requirements At least 6 months of previous delivery driver experience operating a company vehicle required Experience driving a Sprinter van, cargo van, box truck, or similar delivery vehicle Must be at least 25 years of age and possess a valid driver's license Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and applicable traffic laws Ability to manage local delivery routes, schedules, and deadlines efficiently Experience using handheld devices, delivery applications, or electronic tracking systems is preferred Strong attention to detail when verifying manifests, inventory, and deliveries Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to troubleshoot delivery access issues and communicate with dispatch Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements Local Delivery Driver Physical Capabilities Ability to lift, carry, and deliver boxes weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to drive, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift Ability to frequently climb in and out of a delivery vehicle Ability to complete 80-120 delivery stops per day in a fast-paced environment Ability to safely handle and transport pre-packaged grocery items Ability to work outdoors and drive in varying weather and road conditions Local Delivery Driver Job Duties + Responsibilities Operate a Sprinter or cargo van to complete local customer deliveries Deliver pre-packaged grocery items along assigned routes with 80-120 stops per day Load, secure, transport, and deliver products safely to prevent damage Verify shipment contents against manifests and maintain accurate delivery records Use handheld devices and delivery software to track and confirm completed deliveries Follow required photo documentation procedures for deliveries Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Communicate route, delivery, food quality, and safety issues to dispatch or leadership Troubleshoot customer delivery access issues and provide professional customer service Follow traffic laws, safe driving practices, and company safety procedures Perform additional delivery and logistics duties as assigned Employee Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
