Job Description
Job Overview We are a family-owned, fourth-generation company seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Casket Delivery & Inventory Associate to join our team. This position combines customer service excellence with warehouse and driving skills to provide compassionate support during sensitive times. You will be responsible for safely handling, loading, unloading, and delivering caskets while maintaining accurate inventory records. Your dedication will help us uphold the highest standards of professionalism and care in this meaningful industry. Duties Prepare caskets for delivery, including cleaning, assembling components, and ensuring presentation meets company standards Inspect all caskets for quality, accuracy, and damage prior to delivery Safely load, transport, and deliver caskets to funeral homes in a timely and professional manner Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times, especially during customer interactions Provide courteous, respectful, and service-oriented interactions with funeral home staff and customers Represent the company in a professional manner during all deliveries and pickups Receive incoming shipments from manufacturers and verify accuracy against purchase orders Pick up products from manufacturers or distribution points as needed Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies Organize and manage warehouse inventory to ensure efficient storage and accessibility Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles Follow all safety procedures and company policies during handling, transport, and delivery Skills Valid drivers license with 3 years clean driving record. Familiarity with route driving is a plus. Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating compassion and professionalism. Ability to move and lift heavy items and manually handle caskets and other equipment. Focus on safety, punctuality, and load management. Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation accuracy.
