Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials to various locations while ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Drive various vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to deliver parts to customers and vendors. Load and unload parts safely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Operate forklifts and other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist with inventory management by reporting any discrepancies or issues with parts delivered. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Previous experience as a courier or in a similar driving role is advantageous. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in work hours may be required based on delivery schedules.
