Job Description

Heartwarming Care LLC is seeking dependable and compassionate Independent Contractor Meal Drivers to deliver nutritious meals to clients in their homes throughout Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, serving the community, and making a meaningful daily impact. Responsibilities Pick up prepared meals from designated locations Deliver meals safely and on time to clients' homes Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Provide courteous and respectful interaction with clients Perform basic visual wellness checks and report concerns to the office Follow food safety, confidentiality, and agency guidelines Communicate delays, incidents, or delivery issues promptly Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle with current auto insurance Smartphone with GPS capability Ability to pass a background check Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs Familiarity with Lake, Porter, and LaPorte County areas preferred Preferred (Not Required) Delivery, caregiving, or home care experience Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of local routes and communities Schedule & Flexibility Part-Time, flexible weekday routes Morning delivery windows Consistent routes available based on program needs Independent Contractor Notice This position is a 1099 independent contractor role. Drivers are responsible for their own vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and insurance. Contractors maintain control over their availability while fulfilling assigned delivery routes in accordance with service agreements.

$14.00 per hour
