Job Description
We are looking for FedEx delivery drivers. The areas of coverage include Scott, Harrison, Bourbon, Pendleton, and Grant counties. The trucks are picked up and dropped off at the terminal located in Georgetown, KY. You must be able to pass a background check, have a clean driving record, must be 21, and must be able to pass a drug screen. CDL is NOT required. However you must be qualified to drive trucks 26,000 pounds or less. Onsite training is available.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers' locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills.Duties:
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or tractor-trailers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
