Overview Josh Long Trucking, Inc is seeking responsible, motivated, and dependable individuals to join our team as FedEx Delivery Drivers. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely delivering packages to homes and businesses while providing exceptional customer service. Time management skills and problem solving skills are imperative. Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle (cargo van, box truck) Inspect, handle, load/unload and deliver all packages (up to 150lb) with care Deliver packages to residential and business addresses using a handheld device Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws Communicate effectively with managers and customers Must be able to use navigation, maps, and apps on ipad Qualifications Must be 21 years or older Must be able to pass background screen. Felony charges are not eligible for hire Must be able to pass drug screen that includes THC screening Must have clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 150 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
