This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery services during our busy peak season. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have experience in driving, heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for deliveries. Load and unload goods efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques. Navigate assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and move items safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to ensure efficient delivery routes. Previous experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is preferred but not mandatory.
