In this role, you will be the vital link between our Broussard, LA operations and our valued customers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional delivery of goods. Your enthusiasm for driving and customer service will help us deliver exceptional experiences while maintaining safety standards across all routes. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicle including goose neck trailer to transport goods to our instate and out of state customers' locations. Travel short and long distances with nightly hotel stays. Load and unload products using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklift equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices. Follow routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with commercial truck driving regulations. Provide excellent customer service by delivering products courteously, answering questions, and addressing any concerns professionally. Maintain accurate e-log and route documentation during each shift. Maintain delivery truck, i.e., oil changes, tire replacement, keeping truck in a clean presentable condition, etc. Maintain and balance company credit card statements for hotel stays. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or courier roles is highly preferred. Commercial CDL w/ Class "A" endorsement required. Proven ability to load & unload cargo safely while following manual handling protocols. Familiarity with commercial driving, including goose neck trailer, pre and post trip inspections is essential. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, e-log requirements, weight handling, strapping and tarping of loads. Experience with route driving using mobile devices or GPS systems enhances efficiency. Basic Computer Skills, Excel, Word, Email, etc., Strong customer service skills combined with a responsible attitude towards adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
