Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Automotive Parts Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts efficiently and safely to our customers, ensuring timely service and maintaining excellent customer relationships. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help keep our operations running smoothly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicle adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload automotive parts using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes using mobile devices, optimizing delivery schedules for timely arrivals. Load, secure, and transport automotive parts, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items with manual transmission vehicles when applicable. Provide excellent customer service by delivering parts directly to customers' locations, answering questions professionally, and confirming deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports; communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Requirements Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation. Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier, especially involving commercial driving with box trucks or personal vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices for heavy loads in the workplace. Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks related to moving automotive parts regularly. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently using mobile devices or route planning tools. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude during all interactions on the road and at delivery sites. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
