Part-Time | Flexible Hours Available Position Summary The Somerville YMCA is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and professional 7D Driver to transport children and program participants to and from YMCA programs, schools, and community destinations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with youth, values safety, and wants to have a positive impact on the community. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a YMCA 7D passenger vehicle in accordance with all state and local regulations. Transport children and participants to and from YMCA programs, schools, field trips, and special events. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers at all times. Communicate effectively with YMCA staff, families, and program participants.

Additional role requirements post hire:

Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include: EEC Transportation Trainings; Child Abuse Prevention, CPR; First Aid; AED; Bloodborne Pathogens. Qualifications Valid

• Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles School Pupil 7-D Certificate or Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety. Ability to pass required background checks, pre-employment physical and drug & alcohol screenings. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Experience working with children or in a community-focused environment (preferred).
