The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience handling various types of freight and operating different truck configurations. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to our customers. Candidates must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and be committed to maintaining safety standards on the road. Duties Safely operate Class B trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers for local delivery routes Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Deliver goods to designated locations following established routes and schedules Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly Assist with route planning to optimize efficiency and delivery times Skills Valid CDL with necessary endorsements for operating various truck types (manual transmission experience preferred) Proven experience in truck driving, including commercial driving, route driving, and freight delivery Ability to operate specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, forklifts, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation logistics Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record Ability to load & unload freight efficiently and safely Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers Physical ability to handle the demands of loading/unloading cargo and long hours on the road This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to reliable local deliveries.
