30-40 hours per week Major Xpress Logistics LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP), is hiring Seasonal Delivery Drivers for our DMD2 Maryland operation. We are looking for friendly,dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented individuals to join our team during the holiday delivery season. This is a temporary seasonal position with a limited duration. The length of the assignment will depend on business and operational needs. Actual weekly hours may vary based on business needs, and no specific number of hours is guaranteed. What We Offer $22.00 per hour , paid weekly Up to 10-hour shifts Anticipated 30-40 hours per week Paid training Paid Time Off (PTO), as applicable Medical benefits, as applicable based on eligibility Company-provided delivery van, fuel card, GPS device, and uniforms Job Responsibilities Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses Load and organize packages efficiently in the delivery vehicle Operate company-provided delivery vehicles safely and responsibly Follow company safety, delivery, and quality standards Provide professional and courteous customer service Navigate assigned routes in varying weather conditions Work independently while meeting delivery expectations Communicate with dispatch and management throughout the shift Maintain a professional appearance and properly care for company equipment Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess a valid driver's license of the type required for the applicable delivery vehicle No probationary driver's licenses Reliable transportation to and from work Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong time-management and organizational skills Smartphone required for work-related communication Must be punctual, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment and onboarding requirements Seasonal Employment This position is a seasonal, non-exempt, at-will position. Seasonal employment is temporary and does not constitute a guarantee of employment for any specific period of time. Weekly hours are anticipated to be between 30 and 40 hours, but hours may vary depending on business and operational needs.
