$2.70 Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles such as cars, SUVs, or minivans throughout the Maryland, VIRGINIA, and Washington DC markets. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques . Follow designated routes using mobile devices for navigation, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Manually handle heavy or bulky items with safe lifting practices, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages courteously and professionally, addressing any questions or concerns with a positive attitude. Maintain accurate delivery logs, and document any incidents or discrepancies during deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance with transportation standards. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks including moving heavy items safely and efficiently. Knowledge of route driving techniques, adherence to traffic regulations, and safe driving practices are essential. Experience working with mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery documentation is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads regularly while following safety protocols; physical stamina is important for success in this role. People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
