Job Overview:

The delivery route driver is responsible for running a route and delivering packages. This candidate must have more than one (1) year of delivery and/or route driving experience. This is a 1099 contractor position. Please call 240-478-4941 if interested.

General Job Qualifications:

At least one (1) year delivery and/or route driving experience Experience operating a sprinter van and/or 16ft box truck Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed Ability to work 5 days a week (Mon-Fri)

Must be able to get on military bases Must have a REAL ID Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record Background Check and Drug Test Must be authorized to work in the

US Physical Requirements:

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses Significant walking or other means of mobility Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods along assigned routes Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and secure placement Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages in a timely and professional manner Follow designated delivery schedules and maintain accurate records of deliveries Utilize route planning to optimize efficiency and on-time deliveries Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation

Pay:

$800.00 - $900.00 per week
