Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-time Temporary Delivery Driver to join our team. Must be available weekdays. Weeknight and some Saturday availability is preferred. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting rental equipment to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo, as well as setting up and breaking down equipment.
Duties:
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Navigate designated routes efficiently while maintaining a schedule for deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Handle heavy lifting and moving of goods as required during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
Requirements:
Available for any combination of weekday (morning and evening) and weekend shifts. Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment such as forklifts is a plus. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
