Whether it is sales, service, parts, leasing, or rentals - Ballard's been keeping the community rolling for over 100 years. We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Driver to support our Parts Department by delivering parts to customers, vendors, and dealership locations. This position plays an important role in keeping our customers' trucks on the road by ensuring parts are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. This position requires daily driving, frequent lifting, and regular outdoor work. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. What You'll Do Deliver parts to customers, vendors, and dealership locations Pick up parts and materials from suppliers and other locations as needed Verify delivery contents and documentation for accuracy Obtain customer signatures and required delivery paperwork Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing parts Maintain delivery records and communicate delivery status with the Parts Department Collect payments from customers when required Perform routine inspections of company vehicles and report maintenance or safety concerns Operate company vehicles safely and professionally. Company vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking, dash cameras, telematics systems, and other monitoring technology used for safety, operational, maintenance, and business purposes Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations Required Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must: Possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record Be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review in accordance with company insurance requirements Be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening Be able to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull parts and materials weighing up to 50 pounds Be able to safely enter and exit delivery vehicles throughout the workday Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality Be able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
