Overview Join our dynamic team as a Shed Delivery Driver/Laborer and become a vital part of our logistics and customer service operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely delivering sheds and mini homes to customers, assisting with leveling and blocking, and ensuring that every shed is handled efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks and specialized trailers, to deliver sheds and mini homes to various locations across the state. Load and unload buildings using equipment such as shed mules, specialized trailers, ensuring proper handling of sheds. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns with a friendly attitude. Follow designated routes accurately, managing route driving schedules efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. Assist with other duties such as moving inventory, moving stock, and maintaining a clean work environment. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly. Load, secure, and unload buildings carefully to prevent damage during transit; handle heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively. Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially commercial vehicles, and trailers. Experience with equipment is a plus, including familiarity with shed mules or shed trailers. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Comfortable driving wide loads, maneuvering trailers and navigating various routes confidently. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, moving items, and manual labor throughout the shift. Some light mechanical skills, and some understanding of wiring and hydraulics. Some light carpentry skills are required. Knowledge of safety procedures related to load handling, vehicle operation, and building leveling.
