FedEx Ground Delivery Driver

• Full-Time We are hiring dependable, safety-focused delivery drivers to operate FedEx Ground routes out of the FedEx terminal in Saline, Michigan. This is a full-time, daytime position with a consistent 5-day workweek, competitive daily pay, and the opportunity to earn additional income by working a sixth day. Pay $170
• 185 per day Approximately $850
• 925 per week on a typical 5-day schedule Approximately $970
• 1,100 per week with additional days/overtime when available Full daily rate even when you finish your route early Weekly direct deposit every Friday Experienced delivery drivers may qualify for a signing bonus Schedule Full-time 5 days per week Typical hours: approximately 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Day shift only Flexible scheduling Availability for one weekend day per week is required for the time being Six-day weeks are required during the peak season between Thanksgiving and New Year's Why Drivers Like This Job Your truck is loaded for you in the morning Work independently throughout your day with support available when needed Newer fleet of delivery vehicles Appreciative and supportive management team No routine requirement to rescue other drivers after completing your route Paid the full daily rate even when you finish early Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid training Overtime/additional-day opportunities Referral program What You'll Do Safely deliver and pick up packages along an assigned route Operate a commercial delivery vehicle in a safe and professional manner Follow FedEx, DOT, and company safety procedures Provide reliable and professional service to customers Work safely in Michigan weather throughout the year Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with a good driving record Must pass a background check Must pass a drug screen, including marijuana Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card; assistance will be provided Chauffeur license required; this can be obtained through the Michigan Secretary of State Dependable and able to report for scheduled shifts consistently Safety-minded and comfortable driving a commercial delivery vehicle Able to communicate and work effectively with the team Experience Previous delivery experience is helpful but not required .
