Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

Lazy Dog Pizza is seeking reliable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of our delicious pizzas and other menu items to our valued customers. Responsibilities:

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport food orders to customers in a timely manner. Review delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before leaving the restaurant. Navigate delivery routes efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools to ensure on-time deliveries. Provide friendly and professional customer service during delivery interactions, including greeting customers and verifying order details. Handle cash transactions accurately and provide change to customers as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and parking, prioritizing safety at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, including regular cleaning and maintenance checks. Communicate effectively with restaurant staff regarding delivery orders, including any special instructions or customer requests. Assist with additional duties in the restaurant as needed during non-delivery hours, including taking phone orders and preparing food items. Uphold Lazy Dog Pizza's standards of quality and service, ensuring customer satisfaction with every delivery. Opportunity for cross-training in other positions within the restaurant may be available. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Restaurant Manager to support the overall operations of Lazy Dog Pizza.

Skills:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling cash transactions. Ability to lift and carry food orders weighing up to 25 pounds. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on delivery demand.
