Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices at all times Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to maximize productivity and timely deliveries Deliver packages directly to customers' doorsteps with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction Manually handle heavy items during loading, unloading, and delivery processes while maintaining safety protocols Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery via mobile devices Follow all safety procedures related to warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and material handling equipment operation Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and moving heavy loads Valid driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving or box truck operation; personal vehicle delivery experience is a plus Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, and safe driving practices with manual transmission vehicles preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques for weight management in the workplace Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, route updates, and delivery documentation Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling standards in the workplace Embark on a rewarding journey as an Amazon Delivery Driver where your energy fuels our success!
