Job Description

Position Summary Delivery drivers are responsible for assisting dispensaries with local, legal deliveries. They maintain contact with the instore Dispatcher to receive delivery drop-off instructions, and other general retail duties as assigned. Drivers may assist by fulfilling the incoming orders and having them prepared for delivery. They may also assist by taking part in basic communications with customers about delivery issues, comments, and concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Picking up and delivering at set locations daily Fulfilling online orders as they come in, having them prepared for delivery Minimum Requirements The essential requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
Minimum Age:
21+ for Marijuana industry
Valid Driver's License:
A clean, current license is required. Vehicles must have valid registration and insurance at all times.
Driving Record:
A good driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUIs, reckless driving).
High School Diploma or GED:
Often preferred, though not always required. Proficient time management skills, delivering items on schedule. Cash handling skills Familiarity with GPS, maps, and delivery routes. While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
