Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dependable, punctual, and customer-focused Class B Delivery Driver to deliver refrigerated products throughout the Twin Cities metro area and surrounding communities. If you take pride in providing excellent service, maintaining a safe driving record, and want consistent year-round work, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Plan and execute delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize efficiency and timeliness across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured correctly for transport. Manage the transportation of various freight types, including refrigerated goods, freight requiring special handling Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs for load & unload activities, delivery receipts, and compliance records. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly. Follow all DOT and OSHA safety guidelines during loading/unloading processes and while on the road. Qualifications Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in delivery driving or commercial truck driving roles involving tractor-trailers or straight trucks. Familiarity with refrigerated trucks, and freight handling equipment. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations and safety standards for truck driving. Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for route planning across OTR routes. Excellent manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently. Good communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and customers. Pay:
$27.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
