Local Delivery Driver

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to local destinations, ensuring each customer receives exceptional service. Duties Safely operate a cargo van or similar vehicle to deliver/pick up home medical equipment across designated local routes. Load and unload deliveries and/or pickups , ensuring items are handled with care. Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Verify delivery/pick up accuracy, complete necessary documentation, and obtain signatures when required. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, and organizing shipments as needed. Rotational On call 4- 10hr days Experience Previous delivery driver experience or courier work a plus but not required Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and vehicle operation. Skills in customer service with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities.
